RESIDENTS GET IT

When teams are functioning better with longer-tenured staff, residents can tell. They enjoy better care, more dignity, and greater satisfaction within their residential communities. When they’re happier, we all are.

For nearly a decade, LiveWell has worked to improve staff morale, communication, and retention. It can also help onboard new staff by capturing and sharing effective learning. The LiveWell team is here to help leaders and staff bring its benefits to all long-term care facilities. Please let those in your network know that applications are being accepted for the next virtual learning cohort, planned for Winter 2022. Oregon DHS is fully funding the training for communities located in the state. Check it out. You can learn more and sign up today on their website.

LiveWell and LeadingAge Oregon. We’re both in it for the long term.

 

Our goal is to make the benefits of LiveWell available to every LeadingAge Oregon member facility and their staff.

The last few weeks have been rough, with absenteeism due to illness further eroding staff morale and teamwork. LiveWell is proven to be effective at building better, more cohesive teams:

  • Team building skills improved 37%

  • Teams' ability to improve quality in the community improved 46%

  • Leadership skills improved 21% while collaboration between management and staff improved 15%
